It simply did not exist as a possibility … No way … No how … was I not going to spend two days live with Sandi Krakowski

September 16 was a VERY interesting day here in Queens, NY. We experienced what some people are calling a "freak tornado". Big trees were ripped right out of the ground and tossed like kindling on top of big, 120 year old houses in my neighborhood. I was sitting in my office chatting with Scott Manesis and his wife Marlee, getting some last minute strategizing and work done before going to bed early so that I could catch a red-eye out to Indianapolis the following morning.

As I was talking, the sky turned pitch black, I heard TREMENDOUS claps of thunder and all of a sudden the sky opened up and the rain started sheeting down. Within 5 minutes, gale force winds were whipping the rain into an impenetrable fog. I heard things crashing about … and I remember telling Marlee that I was grateful to be living in an apartment building because it sounded like it was REALLY wild outside. As quickly as it started … it was over … almost … I was hoping and praying that the weather would clear up enough so that I would get to Indy and my live event on time. I finished packing … set my alarm clock for 2:30 am and hit the sack.

My eyes shot open at 1:30 am … I jumped out of bed … got some more work done while trying to call my regular car service for a ride to the airport … NO ANSWER. Not good .. I called three more local services … NO ANSWER … REALLY not good. Checked the local travel advisory … that storm had wreaked havoc all over Queens. Alternate travel plans were being suggested. So I finally called a service that I use in the city … they answered and pick up arrangements were made. There simply was no way that I was not getting on that plane … no way was I going to miss this event.

On the ride to the airport I was stunned by what I was looking at. It looked as though a clan of giants had had a rip roaring party in Queens. Trees and branches were tossed around all over the place. Branches were down and blocking streets. Power was out in alot of areas. Subway travel was suspended at certain stations … busses were rerouting …

For some reason, the area around LaGuardia Airport had been spared most of the damage. My flight was reported as leaving on time. And that's exactly what happened … the plane took off on time and landed early. I checked into the hotel early … I was upgraded to concierge level without asking … and I got to the meeting room with 30 minutes to spare and networked like a woman with her hair on fire

I have to admit one thing though … the BESTEST part of the event was meeting Sandi in person.

She is a human dynamo. She has more energy than an Energizer Bunny with an auxiliary battery pack. She really does speak faster than most people think. And she is HUMBLE beyond belief. The spiritual foundation of her life and her business show through in EVERYTHING that she talks about and does. She SERVES her customers and clients by always doing the best she possibly can for them and that is why what she teaches gets results for other people.

Her "no information withheld" style of teaching is really a breath of fresh air. More importantly, she teaches what she is actually DOING in HER own business to keep it humming along at the 7 figure level. My Alexa ranking for this blog was stuck at 300,000 for a long time. Within 4 weeks of implementing some of the things that Sandi told me to do, my Alexa ranking dropped like a stone and is now hovering around 200,000 in a HIGHLY competitive niche.

My bounce rate on the blog was OVER 60%. It is now at 4.35%, people spend an average of 5 minutes reading the content (this is up from an average of 2.73 minutes), people read an average of 4.86 pages compared to 2.53 pages and 57.59% of my readers are new readers. And I have almost 600 readers subscribed to my RSS feed.

I market in several different niches. Before I got some help with building my list, I had a grand total of about 150 people on my e-mail lists. I now have about 700 people total and my lists are correctly segmented. They are growing larger every day !!

Although I was always able to write decent copy for myself, I am now being asked to write copy for other people and I am getting paid to do so
