FTC Disclosure

You may or may not be aware of this … but as of December 1, 2009, the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) is now requiring bloggers and affiliate marketers to fully disclose any financial relationship that they have with the manufacturers or providers of any products or services that are promoted through information and links in their content and sites. This new requirement also covers the use of testimonials to support product and service claims and results.
Here is my PERSONAL DISCLOSURE …
The author of this blog receives compensation when products and services featured herein are purchased. Results are unique. Your results will vary and they depend on YOU taking the required action to achieve the results YOU want.
Parts of this blog may be an advertisement for products and services that I personally use during the everyday operation of my business. I recommend these products and services because they have helped me tremendously and I want you to know about them as well. I don't recommend products and services that I do not personally use.
I actually HONOR the Golden Rule …"I Do Unto Others What I Would Have Done Unto Me" (How quaint right?)
In a nutshell … I'm just myself … a really cool, old-fashioned big city Chef (aka business person) who decided to rewrite the rule book, learn and master some new skills and is bound and determined to entertain, educate and help you get what YOU want out of your business and your life.
I am being HONORABLE and telling you UPFRONT that I might make some money and that you may or may not. Internet Marketing and Network Marketing are NOT a LOTTERY TICKET. You are not going to "get rich quick". Some people EARN lots of money, some people do not EARN any money at all. YOU are responsible for your own results !! Obviously there is risk involved with all business ventures.
Whew … Now that THAT is out of the way …
Some really cool things that you should know about the blogging portion of my business !!!
- People that purchase products through my links actually ALLOW me to keep on providing great information to the community as a whole … so thank YOU … thank YOU … thank YOU ! I LOVE what I do.
- People that subscribe to get either my e-newsletter or specific information about specific products DON'T get pitched on my business opportunity. If you want to know about that …YOU have to ask me directly ! I am here to HELP people … not give them another headache ! You will get LOTS of great information that will either have you laughing madly or moving forward with your business … you won't even notice my cleverly disguised product pitches.
- I will show you HOW to market on the internet the way I do … which means that you too will learn about affiliate marketing and earning commissions for recommending really great products and tools that HELP other people. I will also tell you where you can find some really cool graphics so that you can create your own FTC disclaimer !
- Since I don't make income claims … I am not going to promise you that you will make one red cent. The amount of money that you are able to earn has EVERYTHING TO DO WITH YOU … and can only be augmented by products and training !
PLEASE remember this always ...
YOU are YOUR BUSINESS …YOU are THE PRODUCT that people want … and YOU are VERY IMPORTANT TO ME !
BUT…
YOU have to do the WORK !
That's what I do every day… I WORK … That's what every other successful person I know does… they WORK …
And that's what you will have to do too … WORK …
But I am BLESSED because the work I do is so much FUN that I don't feel like I am working … I am just having fun doing what I love most ~ helping other people LEARN HOW TO have fun doing what they LOVE to do !!
